We are looking for a highly motivated, very driven, and passionate Market Research Intern who has experience researching and analyzing emerging trends within sales data and public domain data. Job Summary & Key Accountabilities

Summer Interns will be assigned 1-2 projects for completion over our 90-day program. Projects will focus on analyzing and synthesizing organic research, reports, and other information in a presentable and visual way. General support of Eden’s marketing team. Product research to correlate OEM offerings with Eden replacement products as well as identify new product offerings resulting in a new product consideration from Eden. Conduct 8-10 Customer Discovery calls per week via telephone to collect and analyze primary source data on market trends, demographic data, and competitive landscape insights. Capture CRM input via NetSuite. Assist with building a map of zip code data, overlayed with customer data in support of fulfillment partner selection for our growing eCommerce business.

Experience

Identifying sources of industry and competitive information, including industry associations, primary and secondary market research, and customer feedback. Familiar with market research techniques such as customer discovery, surveys, competitive analysis, and public domain data.

Lead research project evaluating product marketability and identifying business development opportunities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills including MS Office software suite (Excel, PPT, Word, etc.) as well as CRM database software.

Residential Pool & Spa familiarity helpful but not required.

Formal Education

Active enrollment, with good academic standing, in Marketing, Business, Communications, or similar field.
